Quantitative proteomics, computational biology, and measurement science
Developing quantitative proteomics and computational methods to measure biological systems.
About
I'm Nicolas, a researcher working at the interface of quantitative proteomics, computational biology, biochemistry, and mass spectrometry. My work focuses on developing analytical and computational approaches to measure and understand complex biological systems.
I trained in Interdisciplinary Sciences at Paris Descartes University and completed my PhD at the Institut Jacques Monod (Camadro Lab), where I developed novel quantitative proteomics methodologies by combining experimental design, isotope-based approaches, computational analysis, and software development.
Currently, as a postdoctoral researcher in Julia Kamenz's lab at the University of Groningen, I use quantitative proteomics, phosphoproteomics, and computational analysis to investigate dynamic cellular processes in Xenopus laevis egg extracts. More broadly, I am interested in developing new ways to extract quantitative information from complex biological data and in building tools that enable biological discovery.
Outside the lab, as a proud Breton, I am happiest near the sea or on a skateboard.
